The Fair Housing Compliance (FHC) course is a comprehensive program offered by the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) for property management staff. NAHMA’s Fair Housing Compliance course trains management staff to understand complex fair housing regulations. Each participant will receive a copy of the NAHMA Fair Housing manual. The one-day program is composed of one day of instruction with a review and a two-hour exam. Students have the option to take the exam at the end of the day or they are given information to take the two-hour Fair Housing Compliance Exam within 3 weeks of the class. Individuals must pass this exam to obtain the FHC designation. The FHC is a requirement for NAHMA’s National Affordable Housing Professional (NAHP) certification program. All participants who successfully complete the course will receive a FHC certificate and pin, and be listed in NAHMA’s Online Credential Directory. Please Note: This is a National Certification course. 
The 2 hour FHC exam is open book and does not require a proctor. Participants who choose to take the exam at a later date will receive the voucher number and instructions on how to access the exam at the end of the course. Individuals must pass this exam to obtain the FHC designation. Participants who choose to take the exam on the day of the training must bring a laptop or tablet to take the exam.
Cancellations: Must be received in writing 10 business days prior to the event to receive a refund. After that date, only substitutions may be made. 
No shows are responsible for full registration fee.
This program is subject to cancellation if minimum number of registrations is not received.
