Captain Troy Burnett and Sergeant Shane Keyes with the Ogden Police Department will discuss current crime trends in Utah as well as:

• Safety tips
• Signs to watch for (e.g. each specific drug, etc.)
• Workplace Violence Preparedness and Response Plan

Captain Troy Burnett
Troy Burnett has been an officer at the Ogden City Police Department for 23 years, with assignments in narcotics, F.B.I. Violent Crime Task Force, SWAT and Patrol. Cpt. Burnett is  currently assigned as the Support Services Division Commander, which covers the following units:

            Investigations (Major Crimes and Special Victims Unit)
            Weber-Morgan Narcotics Strike Force
            Ogden Metro Gang Unit
            Real Time Crime Center

Sergeant Shane Keyes
Shane Keyes is a Sergeant with the Ogden Police Department, currently serving in the Major Crimes Bureau. Sgt. Keyes has been a Police Officer for 13 years and in that time has worked as a Patrol Officer, Gang Detective, and two tours in the Weber-Morgan Narcotics Strike Force as an Agent. Currently Sgt. Keyes supervises the Detectives over Property Crimes, Auto Theft, Financial Crimes, and Robbery/Homicide.
