Mental Health in the Workplace
In today's day and age, mental health is often pushed aside for other needs, especially in the workplace. This session will cover the importance of mental health (both individually and as a staff), workplace mental health statistics and trends, tips and resources to provide employees with a secure working environment, and company-wide options employers can take that might help employees with mental health disorders continue working.

Dealing with Adversity/Difficult Residents
Defusing stressful situations and working with people from diverse backgrounds are common practices in affordable housing. This session will explore the importance of handling diverse and challenging resident situations with mindfulness and consistency. Attendees will receive tools, tips, and basic skills to address the adverse and difficult conditions management and maintenance staff often face at the site level.

Avoiding Workplace Burnout
Our culture puts such great emphasis on being productive and efficient that it often comes at a price, resulting in workplace burnout. This session will explore topics like workplace burnout and its cost, self-care in a stressful environment, and useful skills for time management. Attendees will learn to look for signs of workplace burnout, as well as receive tools and tips for promoting a healthy working environment and employee retention.

Stress Management
Overwork and stress can lead to poor efficiency in the work place as well as a loss of teamwork. In this session, attendees review how stress dictates personal choices in the work setting, identifying internal and external stress triggers, key skills for dealing with stress management, and methods for increasing productivity through overcoming workplace stress.
