The Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM) Exam is a three-hour, closed-book online examination and is one of the requirements for obtaining this distinguished NAHMA certification. The SHCM designation recognizes professionals who have demonstrated a strong understanding of the complexities of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program and a commitment to excellence in housing credit management.

Participants should bring a laptop computer or iPad to complete the exam. To ensure compatibility and connectivity, your device should have an updated version of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox installed prior to the exam.

Please note that hotel Wi-Fi can occasionally be unreliable, which may result in testing delays. If you prefer to take the SHCM Exam at a later date, RMH-AHMA can assist you in scheduling an alternate testing time.
